EDGE Associate Programme is led by industry professionals with experience of performing on the world’s biggest stages, along with teaching at top performing arts colleges in the country. Classes will help develop performing techniques whilst readying students for college auditions.

 

Sessions will take place once a month on a Sunday in both Bristol and Bournemouth allowing students to pick their preferred location.

 

Students will be required to audition for the programme to allow us to work with a group of individuals that will benefit from the training at a similar level and pace. Please click here for more information on how to apply.

Emily Goodenough - Co-Founder of EDGE Associates teaching a dance workshop with students

EMILY GOODENOUGH

Emily has been working in the Musical Theatre Industry for over 16 years. She also teaches at vocational colleges across the country and has recently choreographed the new Grade 5 Musical Theatre Amalgamation for the ISTD Modern Syllabus.

Emily began her training at Corraine Collins Dance Studios before gaining a scholarship to Bird College. Her theatre credits include Dance Captain in Kiss Me, Kate (Barbican Theatre, London), Dance Captain and Cover Judy in White Christmas (Sheffield Crucible), and Ensemble in The Third Man (Menier Chocolate Factory). She played Mona in CHICAGO (International Tour) and worked as Associate Choreographer on Gypsy (Royal Exchange Theatre) and Witches of Eastwick (Swedish Premiere). Other credits include Ensemble and Cover Sarah Brown in Guys and Dolls (Théâtre Marigny), Assistant Choreographer and Suzanne in Sweet Charity (Nottingham Playhouse), and Assistant Choreographer and Dance Captain in Oklahoma! (Grange Park Opera). ​ Emily performed as Dance Captain and Young Christine in Follies (National Theatre) and appeared in 42nd Street (Théâtre du Châtelet) and Thoroughly Modern Millie (Kilworth House Theatre). She was Associate Choreographer and Dance Captain in Mrs Henderson Presents (Noël Coward Theatre and Royal Alexandra Theatre, Toronto) and Movement Captain in The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe (Birmingham Rep). Other credits include Assistant Choreographer and Peggy in Sunny Afternoon (Hampstead Theatre and Harold Pinter Theatre), Kiss Me, Kate (BBC Proms, Royal Albert Hall), Dance Captain in Evita (UK tour), My Fair Lady (Sheffield Crucible), and Jesus Christ Superstar (Slovenia, Bronowski Productions). She also performed in Wonderful Town (Royal Exchange Theatre with the Halle Orchestra), The Wizard of Oz (London Palladium), and played Donna in Dreamboats and Petticoats (UK Tour). Emily understudied and played Rumpleteaser in Cats (German Tour, Cologne Musical-Dome and Frankfurt Alte Opera). Her film credits include That Day We Sang (BBC) and Blitz (Apple TV). ​ Emily is also a highly sought-after educator, teaching at various vocational colleges across the UK, including Bird College, London Studio Centre, and Emil Dale Academy.

ADAM DENMAN

Adam has performed extensively in theatre, television, and live productions across the UK and internationally. He currently teaches at vocational colleges in London including Bird College and London Studio Centre.

His theatre credits include: Dance Captain in White Christmas (UK Tour); Best of the West End (Royal Albert Hall); Guys and Dolls (Crucible Theatre, Sheffield); Guys and Dolls (Theatre Marigny, Paris); 42nd Street (Theatre Royal, Drury Lane); Spirit of Fosse in Chicago (UK/ European Tour); Mack & Mabel (Chichester Festival Theatre & UK Tour); Singin' in the Rain (UK Tour & Japan); Singin' in the Rain (Palace Theatre, London); Jack Frost in The Snowman (Peacock Theatre, London); Disco Inferno (UK Tour); The King & I (UK Tour) & Royal Caribbean, Ballroom Fever. He was also chosen to be a part of A Celebration of Youth, performing excerpts from 'West Side Story' and 'Romeo & Juliet' at Buckingham Palace.
